Tbilisi Hills Trail Race
Tbilisi Hills Trail Race - closing the 2024 running race season. After Lisi Trail Festival, Tbilisi Adventure Run and Kazbegi Marathon, TRAILLAB presents Tbilisi Hills Trail Race - the last race in 2024. The race is Hosted by Tbilisi Hills Golf & Residences - the largest, innovative and prestigious project, which has no analogues in Georgia. The race has three distances: ● 9 kilometer (Fun Run) with 300 meters of elevation gain ● 14 kilometer with 550 meters of elevation gain ● 18 kilometer with 750 meters of elevation gain After the start on the main square of Tbilisi Hills, the route follows Teleti Ridge and after 3 kilometers starts to descend toward Tbilisi via beautiful serpentine. After losing about 400 vertical meters the route enters Krtsanisi streets, before crossing Krtsanisi Khevi River and starting to climb to the Teleti Ridge once again, but with a different route this time. After reaching the top the route leads back to the start/finish location. Amazing views on Tbilisi, Kojori Forest, Kumisi Lake and Shavnabada Monastery are seen from different parts of the route and unusual perspectives on Mount Kazbegi can also be seen in good weather. The route follows the trails surrounded by the trees/bushes and with characteristic flowering cacti. Yes, that’s correct, cacti, avoiding scary spines of which adds another level of challenge to the race. The race is also distinct from other TRAILLAB races with its unique elevation profile. As most of its 750 meters of elevation gain is concentrated in the second half of the distance and not in the first half, as for the other races.
