Vera Polozkova's Book - "Lost and Found"

Vera Polozkova Will Present Her New Book "Lost and Found" in Tbilisi Vera Polozkova: "I have written a new book, the first published outside Russia. It contains 77 texts: about love, about war, about craftsmanship, about time, about memory, about what has been lost and what has been found. There are 77 texts as that was my mother's age when she left us this year. This book and this series of concerts are dedicated to her memory: to her heart, strength, humour, incredible, unyielding will to live, and ability to light up the days of everyone she loved. This is not a memorial or mourning book—my mom wouldn't have wanted that. Instead, it's about gratitude for the fortune of being alive and feeling everything with triple the intensity because no one now knows how much time is left or what else lies ahead. It's about what we have learned to appreciate after losing so much forever." A few years ago, Vera Polozkova and Alexander Manotskov embarked on a creative journey to reinvent the ancient genre of the antiphon, a unique blend where poetry, recitation, and music merge into one, creating a mesmerizing experience for the audience. Last season, Polozkova and Manotskov toured with their "Antiphons" in 24 countries, regularly updating the content while preserving the original concept. The new program presents texts from the latest book in the antiphon genre. Age Control: 6+
